Designed primarily for bathrooms, the Mona carries an IP44 rating allowing installation in damp zones including above basins and beside showers. The 762mm height provides enough vertical presence to balance over tall vanity mirrors or full-height bathroom furniture without overwhelming smaller powder rooms. The dual-bulb configuration distributes light evenly when mounted centrally over a 900-1200mm-wide mirror, reducing shadows on faces. The 117mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of typical basin splash zones while still providing directed downward and upward light.

The classic pewter finish is a low-sheen grey-toned metal that sits between brushed chrome and antique pewter in tone, pairing comfortably with white ceramic bathroom fittings, grey tiles, and both warm and cool paint colours. The frosted glass cylinders are fully sealed, preventing moisture ingress while diffusing the G9 LED point sources into a soft glow. The metal frame curves gently at the top and bottom terminals, a subtle mid-century detail that softens the otherwise linear geometry.

What zones of a bathroom can this be installed in?

The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, meaning it can be fitted above basins and outside the immediate shower enclosure or bath perimeter. It is not rated for direct shower spray (zone 1) or inside a shower cubicle (zone 0).

Are the LED bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The fitting uses standard G9 base LED bulbs which can be replaced when they reach end of life. The bulbs included are 3W 3000K warm white LEDs. Replacement G9 LEDs are widely available and do not require rewiring to change.

What width mirror does this suit?

The 204mm width and dual-bulb spacing work well over mirrors between 900mm and 1200mm wide when the light is mounted centrally. For narrower mirrors (600-900mm), consider the single-bulb Mona variant if available. For mirrors wider than 1200mm, two Mona lights mounted symmetrically may provide better coverage.

Can this be fitted horizontally?

The design is intended for vertical mounting with the long axis running vertically. Horizontal mounting would change the light distribution and may affect the IP rating seal integrity, so vertical orientation is recommended.
