Description

The Mistral is a 270mm-high LED table lamp built around a curved triangular blade of frosted white acrylic, set at a leftward lean on a polished chrome base. An integrated 6W LED inside the acrylic produces 540 lumens at 3000K, turning the entire frosted blade into a diffuser that casts soft ambient light without visible lamp elements or hot spots.

Designed for side tables, bedside positions and console surfaces where space is limited, the Mistral occupies a 200mm x 140mm footprint and weighs just 1kg. The leftward lean gives the lamp a directional sculptural presence rather than a static symmetry, and it can be paired with the right-leaning variant (sold separately) to create mirrored bookends on either side of a sofa or bed. The polished chrome base provides stability and reflects room light, anchoring the pale acrylic form visually.

The frosted acrylic conceals the LED strip running through its core, so when lit the lamp reads as a single glowing object rather than a visible bulb inside a shade. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to a traditional halogen, and the 540-lumen output is sufficient for ambient room lighting but not bright enough for task reading. The chrome finish pairs cleanly with contemporary and mid-century interiors, and the white acrylic sits neutrally against both pale and dark wall colours.

Is the Mistral dimmable?

No. The integrated 6W LED runs at a fixed brightness of 540 lumens and is not compatible with dimmer switches or controls.

Can it be used as a bedside reading lamp?

The Mistral provides 540 lumens of diffused ambient light, which is suitable for general bedroom lighting but not bright or directed enough for comfortable reading. It works best paired with a separate adjustable task light for reading positions.

Is there a right-leaning version available?

Yes. A right-leaning variant of the Mistral is available with an identical specification but mirrored orientation. The two can be used as a symmetrical pair on either side of a sofa, bed or fireplace.

How is the acrylic cleaned?

Wipe the frosted acrylic gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid household sprays or polishes that can damage the frosted finish or leave streaks.
