Description

The Miss is a 1650mm floor lamp with a flared gloss white shade made from rigid polyurethane, set on a polished chrome stem and circular base. Three E27 bulb holders sit inside the shade, directing light upward and outward through the white lacquer surface to create diffused ambient light rather than concentrated task light.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and lounge areas where vertical accent lighting is needed without the hardness of a spotlight, the Miss works in corners beside sofas, flanking fireplace alcoves, or as paired lamps either side of a media unit. The 490mm shade diameter and 1650mm overall height give the lamp visible presence in a 3-4m room without dominating floor space. The circular chrome base measures approximately 300mm across. The shade's flared profile references mid-century and Art Deco forms while the gloss finish and chrome keep the aesthetic contemporary.

The Miss takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W each and 2700K-3000K for ambient living room or bedroom light. The three bulbs together provide enough output to light a 15-20m² room as the primary source.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use dimmable LED or halogen E27 bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer for smooth dimming without flicker.

How stable is the base?
