Description
The Mirexa is a 280mm mushroom-form table lamp carved from a single block of natural Spanish alabaster, with a broad domed cap sitting over a rounded column base. An integrated 3000K LED is concealed within the stone body, lighting the alabaster from inside so the lamp appears to glow from its core rather than from a visible bulb. Height and diameter are matched at 280mm, giving the piece a compact, balanced footprint.
Sized for bedside tables, console tables, sideboards and reading nooks, the Mirexa works as a low-level ambient light rather than a task lamp. The integrated LED runs on 230V mains and connects via a standard plug-in cable, so no electrician is needed. Soft white 3000K output suits living rooms and bedrooms where a warm, calm glow is preferred to bright directed light. The horizontal cap shields the LED from direct sightline at seated height.
Each lamp shows different veining, mineral banding and tonal variation depending on the section of alabaster it was cut from, so no two pieces look identical when lit. The smooth, uninterrupted transition between cap and base reinforces the impression of a single carved object rather than an assembled fitting. At 280mm wide, the cap shape gives the lamp a quiet sculptural presence on a surface even when switched off, with the soft white stone reading as a pale, marble-like form during the day.

Frequently Asked
Does the Mirexa take a replaceable bulb?
No. The light source is an integrated LED concealed within the alabaster body, which keeps the carved stone surfaces unbroken. The 2-year warranty covers the LED module.
Is it dimmable?
The integrated LED runs on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — please contact us before pairing with an in-line or wall dimmer to confirm.
Does each lamp look the same?
No. Each Mirexa is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and is most visible when the lamp is switched on.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
