Description

The Minster is a 6-light chandelier in ivory-painted metal with gold patina detailing, built around a central column with six curved arms ending in candle-style drip trays. Each arm holds a single E14 bulb (sold separately) beneath a candle sleeve. The looped drapes connecting the arms give the chandelier a traditional silhouette, while the 480mm diameter keeps the footprint manageable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and living spaces where ceiling height limits the use of larger chandeliers, the Minster offers adjustable drop on installation from 440mm to 1075mm via a 640mm chain. The ivory finish with gold patina accents pairs with both traditional and country-style interiors, and the chandelier can be converted to a semi-flush fitting by shortening the chain fully, bringing the canopy closer to the ceiling for lower rooms.

The metal frame is finished in a soft ivory tone with hand-applied gold patina on the drapes and candle cups, giving each piece subtle variation in the aged metallic detailing. The chandelier accepts candle-shaped E14 bulbs up to 60W each, with most users pairing it with warm-white LED candles at 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional glow. Optional glass shades can be added to the E14 fittings to soften the light and change the visual weight of the chandelier.

What bulbs does the Minster take?

The chandelier takes six E14 candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candles between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a traditional appearance without high running costs.

Can it be used in rooms with low ceilings?

Yes. The minimum drop of 440mm allows the chandelier to be fitted in rooms with ceiling heights as low as 2.4m when hung as a semi-flush. For dining tables, a typical hang height of 700-800mm above the table surface works in rooms with ceilings of 2.5m or higher.

Can glass shades be added?

Yes. The E14 fittings accept optional glass shades, which soften the light output and change the visual appearance of the chandelier. Shades are sold separately.

How is the drop adjusted?

The drop is adjusted on installation by shortening or lengthening the 640mm chain between the ceiling canopy and the chandelier body. Once fitted, the drop is fixed until the chandelier is taken down and re-hung.
