Description

The Minster is a 5 light chandelier built around a central black metal column with five looped arms radiating outward, each terminating in a candle cup for an E14 bulb. The frame is finished in a matt black powder coat that contrasts cleanly with the cream candle sleeves visible in the image. At 370mm diameter and 345mm body height, the Minster is scaled for rooms where a larger chandelier would dominate the ceiling plane.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.7m, the chandelier installs with an adjustable drop between 405mm and 1010mm on a chain that can be shortened during fitting. The compact diameter suits tables or rooms where a traditional multi-arm chandelier is wanted but a 500mm+ fitting would feel oversized. The five E14 sockets accept candle bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately, allowing flexibility in light output and colour temperature depending on the bulbs chosen.

The metal frame is formed from individual curved arms welded to the central column and finished in a matt black coating that absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping the focus on the candle bulbs themselves. The looped arm design gives the chandelier a traditional profile while the black finish bridges into contemporary interiors more comfortably than polished brass or chrome equivalents. The Minster can also be converted to a semi-flush ceiling fitting by removing the chain and fixing the body directly to the ceiling rose, reducing the total drop to approximately 345mm for rooms where even the minimum chain drop is too low.

Yes. The minimum drop of 405mm including the chain and body height makes it suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. The chandelier can also be converted to a semi-flush fitting by removing the chain entirely, reducing the drop to approximately 345mm.
