Description

The Minster is a 2-light wall light built around an oval black backplate with two curved arms extending symmetrically outward, each terminating in a drip-pan cup that holds an E14 candle bulb. The arms loop in a figure-of-eight pattern before rising to the bulb positions, giving the fitting a traditional ironwork character. The black finish is applied to the metalwork in a low-sheen texture that reads matt under most lighting conditions.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms and living room alcoves where wall-mounted ambient or accent lighting is needed, the Minster sits 190mm tall and projects approximately 150-180mm from the wall once fitted. The two E14 bulbs (sold separately) can be standard candle bulbs, LED filament candles, or frosted candles depending on the desired light character and whether exposed bulbs or decorative shades are preferred. The backplate fixes to a standard UK wall box with concealed wiring fed through the centre of the oval plate.

The curved arms and symmetrical layout give the Minster a presence suited to period properties, country-style interiors and rooms with panelled walls or traditional architectural detail, while the plain black finish allows it to pair with contemporary colour schemes without appearing overly ornate. The Minster takes two E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional warm glow.

Can glass shades be added?

Yes. The drip-pan cups at each bulb position will accept small candle-style glass shades with a compatible diameter. Check the shade fitting diameter matches the cup size before purchasing.
