Description

The Minor is a 40mm diameter recessed LED downlight with an integrated 5W 3000K LED module, a white powder-coated aluminium bezel and a black internal baffle. The fixed downlight fits into a 55mm ceiling void and provides a warm white accent or task light without the need for separate lamp purchases or driver boxes.

Designed for residential ceilings, retail displays, hospitality circulation spaces and office task zones, the Minor suits applications where a small-aperture downlight is needed in areas with limited ceiling void depth. The 40mm aperture keeps the fitting discreet in low-ceiling environments such as hallways, cloakrooms, alcoves and cupboards. The white outer bezel sits flush with plasterboard or suspended ceiling tiles once installed, and the black baffle inside the aperture reduces glare by absorbing reflected light from the lamp.

The aluminium construction dissipates heat from the 5W LED without requiring active cooling, and the IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor environments. The integrated LED delivers 3000K warm white light at approximately 450-500 lumens, comparable to a 40W halogen downlight but drawing one-eighth of the power.
