The Mantra Mini Square is a 226mm wide outdoor wall light with a cube-shaped aluminium body in matt white, housing two G9 bulbs behind an opal-white diffuser. The diffuser sits slightly recessed within the square frame, creating depth and a defined transition between the solid white edges and the illuminated centre panel. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for covered exterior positions including porch canopies, balconies, and outdoor corridors.

Designed for contemporary and minimalist architecture, the fitting suits front entrance walls, garden room exteriors, and outdoor seating areas where clean geometric form is wanted. The 240mm height and 125mm projection from the wall give the light a compact presence that works on narrow wall sections and alongside doorframes without overhang. The matt white finish pairs with most render colours, painted masonry and cladding, while the square silhouette provides visual balance when fitted in symmetrical pairs or in multiples along a pathway.

The opal diffuser spreads light evenly across the front face, casting a soft glow that illuminates a 1.5-2m radius around the fitting without harsh spotting. The diffuser also allows some side-spill, meaning adjacent wall surfaces receive indirect wash light. The two G9 bulbs (sold separately) can be standard halogen or LED, with LED options typically providing 300-400 lumens per bulb at 3-4W, giving enough output for wayfinding and ambient light without flooding the area.

What does the IP44 rating mean?

IP44 means the fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and against water splashed from any direction. This makes it suitable for covered outdoor positions such as under a porch canopy, balcony soffit or external corridor, but not for fully exposed positions subject to direct rain or submersion.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes two G9 capsule bulbs. G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W are most commonly used, providing around 300-400 lumens per bulb at 2700K-3000K warm white. Bulbs are sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if fitted with dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LED bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb specification before pairing with a dimmer.

Can it be mounted vertically or horizontally?

The square form allows the fitting to be mounted in any orientation without affecting the visual balance. Most installations position it with the square upright, but it can be rotated to suit the wall layout or desired light spread.
