Description
The Mini 4 is a compact plug-in spotlight in satin nickel and chrome. Its steel housing, a softly rounded block in brushed satin nickel, goes straight into a wall socket and carries a rocker switch on its face. From the upper edge rises a flexible chrome gooseneck arm, ending in a satin nickel spot head with a polished chrome bezel. It stands 18cm tall and 7cm long, and reaches 22cm out from the wall. It takes a GU10 bulb and is rated at 2.8W, with a light output of 250 lumens. The IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.
Because it needs nothing more than a socket, it suits the places where a ceiling light is too much and a lamp would take room you do not have. Beside a bed, bend the gooseneck to point a pool of light at a book while the rest of the room stays dark. On a landing or in a hallway, it gives a gentle light after dark without a ladder or a tradesperson in sight. Renters will like it too: there is nothing to fix to the wall, and it simply comes with you when you move.
The body is steel, finished in satin nickel with chrome on the arm and the bezel, so it sits comfortably beside brushed or polished metal switch plates. Having the rocker switch on the housing itself means you control the light at the spotlight, rather than reaching down to the socket. It runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, and weighs 0.313KG packed. To keep it looking its best, wipe the satin nickel and chrome with a soft, dry cloth, and let the bulb cool before you change it. The installation instructions are available as a download, and we suggest a quick read before first use.

Frequently Asked
Can the Mini 4 go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for indoor, dry rooms, so we would keep it out of bathrooms, away from sinks and never outdoors.
Which bulb does the spotlight take?
It takes a GU10 bulb. The light is rated at 2.8W with an output of 250 lumens, a useful amount for reading or a soft light on a landing.
How far does the arm reach from the wall?
The spotlight projects 22cm from the wall and stands 18cm tall, with a housing 7cm long, so it sits neatly beside a bed or along a hallway.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It is a plug-in light, so it goes straight into a wall socket and you switch it with the rocker switch on its own housing.
What finish is the spotlight?
The housing and spot head are satin nickel, a soft brushed metallic, while the gooseneck arm and the bezel around the bulb are polished chrome.
Can the light be angled?
Yes. The chrome gooseneck arm is flexible, so you can bend it to point the spot head at a book, a picture or a dark corner of the room.
