Description
The Mini 4 is a compact plug-in spotlight that goes straight into a wall socket, so there is nothing to install. Its steel body comes in a satin nickel finish with chrome details, and it measures 10cm high and 7cm across, standing 16.5cm out from the wall. It takes a GU10 bulb rated at 2.8W with an output of 250lm, a modest, directed light rather than one to fill a room. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors and in dry rooms, away from bathrooms and anywhere outdoors.
Because it runs from a socket, it suits the spots where a ceiling light is too much and a table lamp has nowhere to stand: a landing, a hallway, a nursery, or beside a bed or a reading chair. Aim the head at the wall for a soft wash of light on a late trip downstairs, or angle it across a page for reading at night. We think it is a sensible choice for renters and for anyone who would rather not book an electrician, and it moves from room to room as easily as a phone charger.
The body is steel in satin nickel, with chrome on the joint and around the spot head, so the two finishes play against each other. A rocker switch on the front of the body controls the light without unplugging it, and the head adjusts so you can direct the beam where you need it. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, and the installation instructions are available as a download. Before you choose a socket, check there is room for a light that stands 16.5cm out from the wall.

Frequently Asked
Can the Mini 4 go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which means it is for indoor, dry rooms only, so keep it away from bathrooms, damp spaces and anywhere outdoors.
How bright is the light?
It takes a GU10 bulb rated at 2.8W with an output of 250lm, a modest, directed light that suits a landing, a bedside or a reading corner rather than a whole room.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It is a plug-in light, so it goes straight into a wall socket and you control it with the rocker switch on its body.
How far does it stand out from the wall?
It stands 16.5cm out from the wall, and the body is 10cm high and 7cm across, so check the space around your socket before you choose a spot.
Can the spot head be angled?
Yes. The spot head is adjustable, so you can point the light down a hallway, at a wall or across a book, whichever suits the room.
What finish is it?
The steel body is satin nickel, a soft metallic finish, with shiny chrome on the joint and around the head of the spot.
