Middlefield 6 Light Chandelier - Iron Rust

The Middlefield is a 762mm diameter chandelier built from six curved staves of distressed wood forming a barrel-like frame, with six iron rust-finished metal arms radiating from a central hub. Each arm holds a single E14 candle bulb (sold separately) on a curved bracket, creating a two-tier arrangement where the upper three arms sit slightly higher than the lower three. The wood staves run vertically from the ceiling canopy to a pear-shaped wood finial at the base, acting as both structural support and decorative element.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and large living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Middlefield provides ambient and decorative lighting across a 4-6 person dining table or a 4m square room. The drop is adjustable on installation from 898mm minimum to 3438mm maximum via a 2540mm chain, allowing the chandelier to be set at the appropriate height for the ceiling and function. For dining tables, a typical drop places the chandelier 750-850mm above the table surface.

The distressed wood finish shows deliberate grain texture and tonal variation across the staves, giving each chandelier a weathered appearance consistent with reclaimed or barn wood aesthetics. The iron rust metalwork has a matte textured surface that pairs with the wood without introducing high shine or polished contrast. What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 898mm plus the 838mm fitting height means the chandelier requires approximately 1.74m of vertical clearance from ceiling to lowest point. For rooms with 2.4m ceilings, this allows roughly 660mm headroom beneath the finial. Taller ceilings can use more of the 2540mm chain to lower the chandelier.

Can it be used outdoors?

The Middlefield carries no IP rating and is designed for interior use. The distressed wood and iron rust finishes are not weatherproofed against rain or prolonged humidity.
