Description

The Mesh is a 72cm flush ceiling light built from a domed black iron cage studded with small circular acrylic discs at each cable intersection. An integrated 80W LED panel sits at the centre on a white diffuser, while light bounces off the acrylic discs scattered across the cage to create a dotted glow pattern across the ceiling and walls. The colour temperature is fixed at 3000K warm white.

At only 32cm tall, the Mesh is designed as a flush fitting for rooms where a full pendant drop would feel intrusive. The 72cm diameter gives it enough scale to anchor a large living room, open-plan kitchen-diner or hotel lobby ceiling, and the open lattice construction means the fitting reads as light and airy rather than heavy despite its width. It mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose with no chain or rod required.

The frame is iron finished in matt black with the acrylic discs held in place at each junction of the wire mesh. The near-transparent structure casts a complex pattern of small shadows and highlights when lit, and recedes into the ceiling line when off. The integrated LED rated at 80W produces a substantial light output suitable for a primary room light, with no separate bulbs to source or replace.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At 32cm tall it mounts flush to the ceiling rose without a chain or drop rod, which makes it workable in rooms with ceiling heights from around 2.3m upwards. The 72cm diameter does mean the fitting reads as a wide ceiling feature rather than a discreet flush light.

Does it need separate bulbs?

No. The Mesh uses an integrated 80W LED panel rated at 3000K warm white. There are no separate lamps to buy or replace. The full LED output is built into the central diffuser and fires through the surrounding cage.

Is the LED dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model used. Please contact us before pairing the Mesh with a dimmer circuit so we can confirm whether the integrated driver supports it.

What size room does it suit?

The 72cm width and 80W LED output make the Mesh appropriate as a primary ceiling light for medium to large rooms, typically 18m² and above. In smaller rooms the cage diameter can dominate the ceiling visually, so it works best where there is open floor space below.
