Description

Our Mermaid kids rug brings an underwater world to the bedroom floor. On a pale aqua blue ground, mermaids with red, blonde and dark hair swim among dolphins, whales, sea turtles, seahorses, jellyfish and little fish. Branches of pink and orange coral, scallop shells and bubbles are scattered between them. The design repeats across the whole rug in cheerful pinks, oranges, yellows and blues, so there is always something new for a child to spot. It is made from 100% polyester and digitally printed, which gives every tail, fin and shell crisp, clear detail.

It is made for a child's bedroom, where it can lie beside the bed or in the middle of the floor as a place to play, read and sit. We offer it in three sizes. The 80 by 150cm rug fits neatly alongside a single bed or in a smaller room. The 120 by 170cm size covers more floor and leaves space for games and toys. The 133cm round rug makes a circle of colour in a corner or a reading nook. It suits a young mermaid fan or a seaside themed room.

Children's rooms see spills, crumbs and craft paint, so it helps that this rug is washable. Its sea creatures and bright colours give you a theme to build a room around, from bedding to wall colour. Before you choose, measure the space beside the bed or across the floor, and leave a little floor showing around the edges for a tidy finish.
