Description

The Mercury ST25P is a lightweight, paper-thin aerial (antenna) that you can fix to a window or an outside-facing wall. At just 0.5mm thick and 60g, it sits flat against the glass and stays out of the way. The transparent design means it won't block your view or draw attention, so you can keep it tidy in a living room or bedroom without it dominating the space.

It receives Digital Terrestrial TV as well as DAB and FM radio signals within a 35 to 45 mile radius of your transmitter, with a gain of 6 to 8 dB across the VHF (47-230MHz) and UHF (470-694MHz) bands. An integrated LTE filter helps keep 4G and 5G mobile signals from causing interference, which is worth having if you live near a mast. The 75 Ohm impedance suits standard UK TV and radio equipment.

Setting it up is straightforward. The aerial comes with an extra-long 3m RF (coaxial) lead, so you have room to move it to the spot in your home where reception is best, which is often near a window facing the transmitter. Its small footprint (228 x 128mm) makes it easy to conceal behind curtains or along a frame. If your signal is marginal or you're a long way from a transmitter, position matters, so give yourself time to test a couple of locations before fixing it in place.
