Description

This Mercury rechargeable LED torch (US: flashlight) has a rugged metal body and a bright COB LED, giving you up to 8 hours of use on a single charge. It works well for hiking, camping, or keeping in the car, and offers seven lighting modes so you can pick the right output for the job. These cover full beam, low beam and flashing beam from the main head, plus full, low, red and flashing red from the side lamp.

The side lamp doubles as a work light or an emergency warning light, which is handy at the roadside or in poor visibility. You control everything from the power button: press to cycle through the modes, and double-click to switch between the main torch and the side lamp. The head has a telescopic zoom so you can widen or narrow the beam, and a bevelled edge that lets you break a window in an emergency. A four-LED charge meter shows how much power you have left.

Charging is via USB-C, and the built-in 5000mAh 26650 battery can also act as a powerbank through the USB-A port to top up a phone or other device. The torch is water resistant, so light rain and damp conditions are not a problem. It comes with the 26650 rechargeable battery already included, plus a 3xAAA adaptor if you ever want to run it on conventional batteries. A full charge takes around 8 hours.
