This Mercury RCA phono plug uses twin modular screw-in terminals, so you can make connections without a soldering iron. It's a straightforward way to fit RCA plugs (also called phono plugs) to 2 core speaker cable when you're wiring up amplifiers and speakers. You just strip the cable, insert the cores into the terminals and tighten the screws.

The plug is built for low current audio work, with a maximum current of 5A and a maximum voltage of 24V DC.
