The Mercury MTB02 is a handheld digital multimeter built for everyday electrical and electronic testing. It offers 19 testing ranges across 6 functions, so you can check AC and DC voltage, DC current and resistance from a single unit. It arrives ready to use, supplied with shrouded testing probes (also called test leads or test pins) and a PP3 battery, meaning there is nothing extra to buy before you start.

On the measurement side, the MTB02 reads AC voltage from 200 to 500V and DC voltage from 200mV up to 500V. DC current runs from 200uA to 5A, and resistance covers 200 Ohms to 2000K Ohms. There is also a transistor test function for hobbyists and repair work, letting you check components without a separate tester. The test leads measure 570mm, giving you enough reach to probe awkward terminals and connectors.
