Description

This Mercury extension lead lets you connect UK mains plug devices to a UPS or IEC power rail. One end is fitted with a C14 male plug, and the other gives you a 4 gang extension block, so you can run several standard three-pin plugs from a single IEC output. The cable measures 1m, which keeps things tidy without leaving too much slack to manage.

The 4 gang block takes standard UK mains plugs and is rated at 10A on a 250Vac supply, conforming to BS1363/A. The cable is 3 core 1.25mm² and includes flexible strain relief where it meets the block, which helps protect the wiring from stress and pulling during everyday use. The finish is white, so it sits quietly alongside most equipment and racking.

You can wall mount the block if you want it fixed in place, though the screws are not supplied. This makes it a practical choice for server cabinets, AV setups, and workshops where you need to draw UK plugs from an IEC (also known as a kettle-style) connection. The C14 inlet is a common fitting on UPS units and power distribution rails, so it slots in without extra adapters.
