Description

This is a replacement 12V DC connecting lead for a portable cooler box, giving you 5 metres of reach from your vehicle's power socket. One end fits into a standard cigar lighter socket, while the other end connects to the cooler box using a polarized 2 pin 12V DC plug. If your original lead has worn out or gone missing, this is a straightforward way to get your cooler box running again.

The cigar lighter plug (sometimes called a cigarette lighter plug in the US) is unfused, so make sure your vehicle circuit is protected. The lead carries a 5 amp rating, which suits the low power draw of most portable cooler boxes. The 2 pin plug uses a 14mm connection, matching the common fitting found on many DC cooler units.
