Description

The Memory is an 8cm diameter pendant light built around two cylindrical opal white glass sections separated by a black metal collar, creating an hourglass profile. The glass diffuses light from a single E14 bulb (sold separately) through both upper and lower sections, casting soft ambient light downwards and upwards. The black metal ceiling rose and suspension cable match the central collar, giving the fitting a defined modern outline against white ceilings.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, and bedside positions, the Memory pendant works as a solo fitting in smaller rooms or in multiples spaced along a longer surface. The adjustable drop ranges from 44.5cm to 232cm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set between 60-80cm above a dining table or 90-120cm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The E14 bulb fitting accepts candle or golf-ball-style LED bulbs up to 40W, giving control over colour temperature and brightness to suit the room.

The opal white glass is dense enough to hide the bulb outline when lit, preventing glare while maintaining a clean cylinder shape. The black metal frame is powder-coated steel, giving a low-sheen finish that pairs well with monochrome, Scandi and mid-century interiors. The IP20 rating confines the pendant to dry indoor use only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or damp zones.

The drop is adjusted during installation by shortening the suspension cable before wiring to the ceiling rose. Once installed, the drop is fixed unless the fitting is rewired. Set the height to suit the room before final connection.
