Mediterraneo Small 2 Light Frosted Glass Pendant Light - Polished Chrome

The Mediterraneo Small is a 220mm frosted glass pendant light with a wave-contoured circular shade suspended from a polished chrome canopy. The shade is formed from a single piece of frosted glass moulded with smooth, flowing ridges that evoke water movement, creating subtle shifts in opacity across the surface. Two GU10 bulbs sit inside the shade (included, 2 x 9W 2700K warm white), with light diffusing evenly through the frosted glass.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, bedside positions and entrance halls, the compact 220mm diameter suits smaller ceilings and grouped installations where multiple pendants are hung in a row or cluster. The drop is adjustable between 250mm and 1500mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set close to the ceiling in lower rooms or dropped lower over worktops and dining surfaces in taller spaces. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The frosted glass finish masks the internal bulb holders and wiring, presenting a unified surface when viewed from any angle. The wave contours catch and diffuse light at different intensities depending on the thickness of glass at each ridge, giving the pendant a sculpted appearance when lit. The polished chrome hardware provides a crisp metallic contrast against the soft white glass, pairing well with contemporary kitchens, minimalist bedrooms and modern hospitality interiors. Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The pendant comes with two GU10 9W LED bulbs at 2700K warm white. These are dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 dimmer.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, provided you use dimmable GU10 bulbs and pair the pendant with a compatible dimmer switch. The included bulbs are dimmable. Not all dimmer switches support LED GU10 bulbs. Check compatibility before installation.

What ceiling height does it need?

The drop is adjustable between 250mm and 1500mm. At minimum drop, the pendant suits ceilings from 2.2m upwards. Over a kitchen island or dining table, the pendant typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with 2.4m ceilings or higher.

Can multiple pendants be grouped together?

Yes. The 220mm diameter makes the Mediterraneo Small suited to grouped installations, either in a row over a kitchen island or clustered at different heights in an entrance hall or stairwell. Space pendants at least 300-400mm apart to avoid overlapping light pools.
