Description

The Mediterraneo Large is a 370mm frosted glass table lamp with a wave-formed shade made from layered contoured glass sitting on a polished chrome stem and circular chrome base. Two E27 bulb fittings inside the shade distribute light through the frosted glass, softening the output and creating an even ambient glow across the ridged surface.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in living rooms or bedrooms, the lamp stands 500mm tall and works best on surfaces at least 600mm wide to accommodate the shade diameter without overhang. The substantial 7.1kg weight gives stability on solid surfaces. The polished chrome finish on the stem and base reflects room light and pairs with both warm and cool-toned interiors, while the frosted glass shade diffuses the E27 bulb output to prevent harsh glare.

The shade's wave contours are moulded into the glass rather than applied, so the layered effect is visible from all angles and catches light differently depending on viewing position. Each ridge in the glass creates a subtle shadow line when the lamp is lit, adding depth to the frosted surface. The lamp accepts standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the maximum wattage stated in the specification, and works with dimmable bulbs when paired with a compatible dimmer switch.
