The Mediterraneo is a 370mm diameter pendant light with a frosted glass shade shaped into wave-like contours that ripple across the surface, suspended from a polished chrome ceiling canopy on adjustable cables. The shade houses two E27 bulb fittings positioned inside the frosted glass dome, which diffuses light evenly across the sculpted surface. The wave patterns are formed during the glass moulding process and create a three-dimensional texture that shifts visually as you move around the pendant.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Mediterraneo provides ambient rather than task lighting. The 250-1500mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or 600-800mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The frosted glass reduces glare from the two bulbs inside, making the fitting comfortable to view from seated positions. Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E27 LED bulbs and a compatible LED dimmer switch. Both the bulbs and dimmer must support dimming — standard non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail prematurely on a dimmer circuit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop of 250-1500mm works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For a dining table the pendant typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which suits 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights when set to minimum drop, and 3-3.5m ceilings when extended further.

How is the frosted glass cleaned?
