Description

The Meca is a 1200mm linear suspension light with an integrated 25W LED running the full length of a 28mm-diameter matt black tube. The LED produces 2100 lumens at 3000K warm white, directed downward through a 36° beam angle that concentrates light onto the surface below rather than scattering it across the room.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and workbenches where concentrated task lighting is needed along a linear axis, the Meca hangs on two adjustable cables from a rectangular black canopy. The drop is adjustable between 60mm and 2060mm during installation, allowing the bar to be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop or dining table depending on ceiling height. The narrow 28mm diameter keeps the fitting visually discreet despite the 1200mm length.

The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects light, so the bar itself stays dark while the light projects downward onto the work surface. The 2100lm output is comparable to a 150W halogen equivalent, giving enough brightness for food preparation, detailed craft work or evening dining. The LED is non-dimmable and powered from standard 230V mains via a driver housed in the canopy. The 1.3kg weight is distributed across the two suspension cables.
