Description

The Marlena is a single-light wall fitting built around a solid oval loop of antique bronze-finished steel that frames a cylindrical clear glass shade. The loop is anchored to a rectangular steel backplate, also in antique bronze, giving the fitting a total height of 457mm and a projection of 156mm from the wall. A single E27 bulb (sold separately, up to 60W) sits inside the glass cylinder, visible through the clear glass.

Designed for hallways, landings, living rooms and bedrooms, the Marlena provides accent lighting with a strong architectural form. The oval frame draws the eye without overwhelming the wall, making the fitting suitable for narrow hallways where a projecting pendant would encroach on circulation space. The 267mm width allows pairs to be fitted either side of a mirror or central artwork without crowding the composition.

The antique bronze finish sits between brushed and polished, with a subtle grain visible in the steel surface and a tone that reads warmer than graphite or black. The clear glass reveals the full filament of a vintage-style LED or incandescent bulb, making bulb choice a visible part of the design. The rectangular backplate measures approximately 127mm wide and conceals a standard UK back box behind it.
