Description
The Marenzo is a single pendant light built around a 300mm sphere of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended below a flat brushed brass disc that sits horizontally above the orb. A G9 lamp inside the alabaster casts light through the stone, with the brass disc above acting as a reflector that bounces additional light upward onto the ceiling.
Designed for use over dining tables, kitchen islands, bedside positions and entrance halls, the Marenzo works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 180mm brushed brass shade disc and full alabaster orb give the fitting a clear vertical hierarchy, so it reads as a sculptural object rather than a simple globe pendant. The brass ceiling plate and cable suspension keep the line clean from canopy to orb.
Each alabaster sphere is cut and finished from a single block of Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral movement and tonal shifts vary between individual pendants. The solid copper structural elements are finished in brushed brass for a warm, low-sheen tone that pairs well with both pale, neutral interiors and deeper, warm-toned schemes. At 300mm in diameter, the orb has enough scale to anchor a position over a dining table or kitchen island without overwhelming the surrounding cabinetry or joinery.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Marenzo take?
The pendant uses a single G9 lamp, sold separately. A warm-white G9 LED between 2700K and 3000K is recommended to bring out the natural tonal warmth of the alabaster. Avoid cool-white lamps, which can flatten the stone's veining.
Does each alabaster orb look the same?
No. Each 300mm sphere is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, mineral movement and translucency vary between pieces. This is a feature of the natural material, not a defect, and means no two Marenzo pendants are identical when lit.
What's the purpose of the brass disc above the orb?
The 180mm brushed brass disc acts as a reflector, bouncing light from the G9 lamp upward onto the ceiling to add a soft uplight component. It also visually separates the orb from the ceiling plate, giving the pendant a clearer sculptural profile.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
