Description

The Maremagnum is a 12cm pendant light built around a clear glass orb held by a twisted antique brass frame that spirals around the outside of the glass. A single G9 capsule bulb sits inside the orb (sold separately), and the light refracts through both the clear glass and the gaps between the brass coils. The antique brass finish has a darker, oxidised tone compared to polished or brushed brass, with subtle tonal variation across the hand-finished metal.

Designed for cluster installations over kitchen islands, dining tables and hallway entries, the Maremagnum works individually as accent lighting or in groups of three or five for broader coverage. The 1500mm maximum drop is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to hang 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height. The 120mm glass orb keeps the overall footprint compact enough for pairing with other pendants without visual crowding.

The twisted brass frame gives the pendant a sculptural presence when off and creates shadow patterns when lit, as light escapes through the gaps between the metal coils. The clear glass orb shows the G9 bulb inside, so pairing with a warm-white LED capsule (2700K-3000K) tends to sit better visually than cool daylight bulbs. The antique brass finish pairs well with darker wood tones, charcoal greys, and interiors mixing industrial and classical elements.

What bulb does the Maremagnum take?

The pendant takes a single G9 capsule bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W LED G9 bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K). The clear glass shows the bulb, so LED capsule bulbs with a filament-style element tend to look better than enclosed plastic LEDs.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible LED dimmer switch. The pendant itself has no dimming mechanism. Dimming depends entirely on the bulb and dimmer pairing.

Can multiple Maremagnum pendants be installed together?

Yes. The 120mm compact size makes the Maremagnum well-suited to cluster installations. Three or five pendants spaced 300-400mm apart work well over kitchen islands or long dining tables.

How is the drop adjusted?

The cable length is adjustable on installation by shortening the suspension cable inside the ceiling canopy. Once installed, the drop is fixed unless re-adjusted during re-fitting.
