Description

The Maremagnum is a single-arm wall light with a polished chrome bracket that curves in a fluid S-shape before terminating in a clear cut glass shade. The glass is moulded with geometric facets that refract light when the G9 bulb is switched on, scattering small highlights across the surrounding wall surface. An integrated rocker switch sits on the chrome backplate, allowing the light to be controlled without walking to a wall switch.

Designed for hallways, bedside positions, bathroom mirrors and reading corners, the Maremagnum provides localised task light from a compact 130mm-wide fitting. The 140mm projection from the wall keeps the light source forward of the mounting surface, reducing shadows behind picture frames or mirrors when used as accent lighting. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light during the day and pairs with both contemporary and traditional interiors that carry warm metallic accents.

The glass shade measures approximately 80mm across and sits at the end of the curved arm, positioning the G9 bulb 140mm forward from the wall. The cut facets in the glass act as small prisms, splitting the light into softer scattered beams rather than a single hard spotlight. The bracket, backplate and switch housing are solid metal with a mirror-polished chrome electroplate finish that resists tarnishing in typical indoor humidity.

Yes, if paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer. The integrated rocker switch on the fitting is on/off only — dimming control requires a separate dimmer on the circuit.

Does the switch control the light directly?

Yes. The rocker switch on the chrome backplate controls the light fitting directly, so it can be switched on and off without walking to the wall switch. The wall switch must remain in the on position for the rocker switch to function.
