Description

The Maremagnum is a 330mm table lamp built around a curved French gold frame that loops from a circular base through an arc to suspend a faceted clear glass shade above. The frame uses 4mm-diameter metal rod bent into a continuous S-curve, with the glass shade held at the curve's apex by a gold-finished lamp holder. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the faceted glass, which is cut with angular geometric planes that refract and scatter light outward.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in bedrooms, living rooms and hallways, the Maremagnum provides accent lighting rather than primary room illumination. The 180mm width and 120mm depth give the lamp a compact footprint that fits narrow surfaces without overhang. The faceted glass diffuses the G9 bulb's output across the surrounding surfaces, creating prismatic highlights on walls and ceilings when lit. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer.

The French gold finish is a warm mid-tone brass-gold with a polished surface that shows reflections. The curved frame gives the lamp a sculptural profile that reads clearly from across a room, making it function as a decorative object when switched off. The Maremagnum takes a single G9 capsule bulb (sold separately). G9 LED bulbs between 2-5W and 2700K-3000K work well for bedside and accent lighting. Maximum recommended wattage depends on the specific G9 bulb type. Most LED G9 bulbs are between 2-7W.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. The lamp itself has no built-in dimming mechanism. Dimming is controlled at the wall switch or inline dimmer on the cable.

How is the glass shade removed?

The faceted glass shade is held by a threaded collar on the lamp holder. Unscrew the collar anticlockwise to release the shade, change the bulb, then re-thread the collar to secure the glass back in place.

What surfaces does it suit?

The 180mm x 120mm footprint suits bedside tables, narrow console tables, side tables and mantels. The base is stable enough for most flat surfaces, but avoid placing it on unstable or sloped surfaces where the 1.2kg weight could shift.
