Description

The Mara is a 2-light wall light with a French gold sculptural frame supporting two ivory white pleated fabric shades, each housing an E14 bulb (sold separately). The frame curves outward from a triangular backplate in an asymmetric arc, with two faceted crystal droplets hanging beneath each shade. An integrated switch on the backplate controls both lamps without needing a separate wall switch circuit.

Designed for bedroom, hallway and living room walls where ambient light is needed alongside a decorative accent, the Mara fits on walls with standard back boxes and projects 220mm from the surface once fitted. The ivory pleated shades diffuse light into a soft wash against the wall and downward into the room, avoiding harsh glare while still providing useful reading light when positioned bedside. The integrated switch makes the fitting suitable for installation on walls where a switched circuit is not available.

The French gold finish is a warm mid-tone metallic with a low-sheen surface that sits between polished brass and antique brass in colour depth. The pleated fabric shades are held in place by metal rings top and bottom, allowing them to be removed for cleaning or bulb replacement. The two faceted crystal droplets catch and refract light when the lamps are lit, adding movement to the fitting without relying on full crystal dressing.
