Description
The Mar is a 440mm flush ceiling light with an integrated 24W LED, finished in white with a sculptural wave pattern cut into one side of the circular frame. The wave detail creates a three-dimensional contour that casts subtle shadows when lit, giving the fitting depth beyond a flat disc. The LED source sits behind an opal diffuser, providing 950 lumens of uniform light across the ceiling.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.8m, the 60mm projection suits bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and home offices where a low-profile fitting is needed. The remote control allows adjustment of both brightness (dimmable from 10-100%) and colour temperature (3000K warm white through to 6000K cool white), so the same fitting can provide warm ambient light in the evening and crisp task light during the day.
The white finish is a matt powder coat on metal, pairing with white ceilings, light timber and soft neutral palettes. The silver accent visible in the wave detailing is exposed metal beneath the white surface, revealed by the sculpted cut. The combined white body and silver accent reads as monochrome rather than two-tone, maintaining a clean, minimal appearance once installed.
The remote stores the last-used settings, so the light returns to your preferred brightness and colour temperature when switched on at the wall. The 24W power consumption is equivalent to a 120-150W incandescent fitting, making it suitable as the primary light source in rooms up to 12-15m².

Frequently Asked
How is the colour temperature adjusted?
The remote control has dedicated CCT buttons that cycle through the range from 3000K (warm white, similar to halogen) to 6000K (cool white, similar to daylight). The LED remembers the last setting, so it returns to your preferred colour temperature when switched on at the wall.
What room size does the 950lm output suit?
The 950 lumens from the 24W LED is suitable as the primary light source in rooms up to approximately 12-15m². In larger spaces, the Mar can be paired with a second flush fitting or supplemented with task lighting.
Can it be installed in bathrooms?
The Mar carries no IP rating, so it is not suitable for bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. It can be installed in the general bathroom area (zone 3, outside the zones) where no direct water contact occurs.
Does the remote require line-of-sight to the fitting?
Yes. The remote uses infrared, so it requires line-of-sight to the fitting. If the fitting is recessed into a ceiling coving or positioned around a corner, the remote signal may not reach the receiver.
