Description

The Mansion is a three-light outdoor wall lantern built from solid brass with a polished nickel finish, clear bevelled glass panels and a decorative brass arm bracket with ruffled backplate. The lantern housing tapers from a wide 220mm base to a vented pyramidal cap, with three E14 candle-style bulb holders mounted inside the glass enclosure (bulbs sold separately, maximum 60W each).

Designed for installation on front porches, garden walls, covered terraces and external hallways, the Mansion projects 346mm from the wall and stands 478mm tall, making it substantial enough to illuminate doorways and pathways without overwhelming typical domestic architecture. The IP44 rating protects the fitting from rain and moisture when mounted under eaves or in sheltered outdoor positions. The Mansion takes three E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, maximum 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for the period look without the heat and running cost of halogen or incandescent equivalents.

Can it be used in fully exposed positions?

The IP44 rating protects against rain splash and moisture from any direction, but the lantern performs best when mounted under eaves, covered porches or other sheltered outdoor positions.
