The Manhattan is a 510mm table lamp built on a polished chrome stem with a circular base and a double-layer drum shade in black fabric printed with abstract white curves. Two GU10 bulbs sit inside the shade behind a frosted glass diffuser ring that softens the light and prevents direct bulb visibility from the side. The chrome stem passes through the centre of the shade and terminates in a matching chrome finial at the top.

Designed for side tables, consoles and bedroom nightstands where a decorative accent and ambient light are both needed, the Manhattan suits contemporary, art deco and monochrome interiors. The 300mm shade diameter gives presence without dominating a typical 600-900mm side table surface. The frosted glass diffuser prevents harsh shadows and directs most of the light outward through the patterned fabric, creating a soft glow that highlights the black and white graphic design on the shade itself.

The polished chrome finish on the stem and base provides a reflective surface that picks up surrounding colours and light, working well in rooms with cooler-toned furniture or metallic accents. The black and white shade pattern adds graphic contrast without committing to a specific colour palette, allowing the lamp to pair with both neutral and boldly-coloured interiors.
