Description

The Magnum is a twin-head recessed LED downlight built into a 112mm square black aluminium trim with two independently adjustable spotlight heads recessed within the ceiling aperture. Each head contains a 7W integrated LED (14W total output), emitting 3000K warm white light through a conical reflector that can be tilted and rotated to direct light onto specific surfaces or features.

Designed for accent lighting in residential and commercial interiors, the Magnum suits living rooms where light needs to highlight artwork or architectural detail, retail displays, hospitality spaces with feature walls, and home offices where adjustable task light is needed without surface-mounted fittings. The twin-head configuration allows two separate zones to be lit from a single ceiling aperture, reducing the number of cut-outs required compared to single-head downlights. The 88mm recessed depth fits most ceiling voids with clearance for standard joists.

The matt black aluminium construction gives a low-glare finish that sits flush with ceiling planes in both white and dark ceilings without creating a strong visual border. Yes. Each of the two spotlight heads adjusts independently on its own axis, allowing one to point left while the other points right, or both to be directed towards the same feature depending on the lighting requirement.

What ceiling void depth is needed?

The fitting requires 88mm clearance above the ceiling for the recessed body. Most standard ceiling voids between joists provide adequate depth, but check the specific void in older properties or where insulation reduces clearance.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for a long service life and carries a 5-year warranty from Maytoni.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating restricts the Magnum to dry interior areas only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, or zones where moisture or steam is present.
