Description

This is a slim COB linear module for the Magneto low voltage track system, finished in black and measuring 250mm along its length. The narrow bar sits close to the track line, so the light appears as a clean band rather than a cluster of spots, and the integral LED draws 12W at a cool white 4000K. A driver is included and the module is not dimmable, so it works from an ordinary switched circuit.

We reach for a linear head like this where a run needs even washes of light rather than pools: over a kitchen island, along open shelving, above a run of worktop, or down a hallway where several modules can be spaced out on the same track. The cool white tone reads crisp and practical, which suits working areas, utility spaces and display niches better than a soft bedside glow. Because heads can be moved along the track and added to over time, it also suits anyone who wants to settle the lighting after the furniture has landed. It is intended for dry indoor rooms only.

The body carries a black finish inside and out, including the lens surround, so it stays quiet against a dark ceiling line and disappears into a black track. Keep it clean by switching the circuit off first, then lifting dust from the housing and lens with a dry brush or soft cloth; nothing wet and no solvents near the optic. It carries a three year warranty. We stock the rest of the Magneto range in the same black, including one metre shallow, deep and recessed track, end caps and the L-joints that turn a run at ninety degrees or take it wall to wall, so a single line can be extended or reshaped later.
