Description

A small cone hangs from the track run, tapering down to a 76mm mouth so the light stays tight and pointed at the surface below. The LED is built in, drawing 12W and giving 950 lumens of warm white light that sits comfortably alongside timber, brass and warm paint colours. Output is fixed rather than dimmable, so it suits places where a steady working level of light is what you want. The drop adjusts within a set range, which lets a row of them be levelled to a single height or stepped to follow a worktop.

This is one we reach for above kitchen islands, prep counters and long refectory tables, where a narrow cone keeps the light on the food and out of eyes. Sitting on track rather than a fixed point means the spacing can be reconsidered later, when the furniture moves or the island grows. It works equally well over a shop counter, a café table or a reception desk. Keep it to dry indoor rooms; a covered terrace or a shower zone asks for a sealed fitting instead.

Everything visible is finished in black, cone and suspension alike, so the fitting reads as one quiet line against a black track. The driver is integral, so there is nothing separate to find space for. For care, switch off at the wall and give the cone an occasional wipe with a dry cloth; the inside of the shade collects dust in kitchens more than the outside does. It carries a three year warranty. We stock the surface and recessed Magneto tracks, the end caps and the corner joints in matching black, so a run can be planned as a straight line or turned around a corner. The LED is integral, so there is no lamp to buy.
