Description

A narrow cone shade in black, hung from the track rather than fixed to the ceiling, drops a tight pool of light onto whatever sits below. The LED is built in, running at a warm 3000K with 950 lumens from 12W. It dims on a Triac dimmer, bought separately, and the range includes a controller sized for a full system. We would run a row of them along deep pendant track above an island.

Kitchen islands and dining tables are the obvious homes, where several small cones give a line of light without the bulk of full-size pendants. It suits a breakfast bar or a long console just as well, and the drop adjusts within the suspension, so you can set the heads level with one another or step them along a run. The narrow beam keeps light on the surface and off the walls, which helps in open-plan rooms where the same fitting has to work at lunch and again in the evening.

Black is the only finish here, and the driver comes with it. Dust gathers on the outside of the cone more than within, so a soft dry cloth now and then is all it asks, with the power off and the head cool. Indoors and dry is where it belongs, away from bathroom zones and open porches. It carries a three year warranty. We stock the deep surface and pendant track it hangs from, the endcaps, the L-joints for right-angle and wall-to-wall runs, and a recessed track if you would rather the channel sat in the ceiling line. The LED is integral, so there is no lamp to change.
