A small gold ball on a slender black stem, this is our pick when a track run needs a pendant note rather than another spotlight. The sphere measures 95mm across, and the LED behind it gives 800 lumens of warm white light over a broad spread, so the effect is a soft pool rather than a tight beam. Gold is used on the shade, with black for the stem and the head that sits against the track.
