Description

The MagDuo 2-Wire Fire Repeater Panel is a remote monitoring and control interface for ESP MAGDUO 4 or 8 zone fire alarm control panels. The unit connects via a 2-wire connection to the main control panel and replicates all panel status indications—fire, fault, disabled, test and power—on a green-backlit LCD display with five LED status indicators across the top of the faceplate.

Designed for installation at manned reception desks, security stations or building management offices where the main fire control panel is located in a plant room or locked cupboard, the repeater allows building staff to monitor fire alarm status and perform critical system controls without accessing the main panel. The central LCD displays zone information and event logs, while the four red control buttons (silence alarms, reset system, sound alarms, silence buzzer) allow operators to respond to alarm events from the remote location. A key-operated enable switch prevents accidental activation of alarm controls.

The grey metal enclosure measures 340 x 101 x 350mm (W x H x D) and weighs 600g, designed for surface mounting on a wall at eye level. The system controls section features a directional navigation pad and enter button for scrolling through zone information and event logs on the LCD. CE marked and compatible with up to eight repeater panels on a single MAGDUO control panel, allowing multiple monitoring points across larger buildings or multi-floor installations.

Which control panels is this repeater compatible with?

The MagDuo repeater is only compatible with ESP MAGDUO 4 zone and MAGDUO 8 zone fire alarm control panels. It cannot be used with other manufacturers' panels or with older ESP panel models.

How many repeaters can be connected to one control panel?

A maximum of eight repeater panels can be connected to a single MAGDUO control panel via the 2-wire connection. This allows multiple monitoring stations across a large building or campus.

What controls can be operated from the repeater?

The repeater provides four alarm control functions: silence alarms, reset system, sound alarms, and silence buzzer. These controls require the key-operated enable switch to be turned on before use, preventing accidental activation. All zone information and event logs from the main panel are also visible on the repeater's LCD display.

What cable is needed for the 2-wire connection?

Refer to the product manual (Downloads tab) for the correct cable specification and maximum run length between the control panel and repeater. Cable requirements depend on installation distance and building layout.
