Description

The Magari is a 780mm linear pendant with ten cylindrical opal glass shades arranged in two staggered rows along a brushed gold metal frame. Each shade slots into a brass cylinder cap and houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately), with the lower portion of each tube remaining clear so the bulb is visible while the upper portion frosts to soft opal.

The linear footprint of 780mm long by 240mm wide makes the Magari a fit for rectangular dining tables and kitchen islands between 1.6m and 2.4m in length. Twin drop rods suspend the fitting from two ceiling points, giving stable hanging across the long axis, and the rod length can be adjusted on installation to set the shades 700-900mm above a worktop or table surface. Ten G9 sockets give a combined output well above what a single pendant could deliver over the same span.

The brushed gold finish on the metal frame and the cylinder caps reads as a warm, slightly desaturated brass rather than a bright polished yellow, pairing comfortably with walnut, oak and marble surfaces as well as cooler stone and concrete worktops. The two-tone glass shades, frosted at the top and clear at the bottom, let the bulbs read as defined points of light while the opal section softens glare at eye level when seated at a table.

The fitting takes 10 x G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately). Most buyers choose warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2.5W and 4W at 2700K-3000K for dining and kitchen island use. Avoid bulbs above the wattage marked on the fitting.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself has no built-in driver, so dimming depends on the G9 bulbs fitted and the dimmer used. Pair dimmable LED G9 bulbs with a trailing-edge LED-compatible dimmer for the best result. Please check bulb and dimmer specifications before installation.

What size table or island does it suit?

At 780mm long, the Magari sits well over rectangular dining tables and kitchen islands between roughly 1.6m and 2.4m in length. Hung 700-900mm above the surface, the ten shades give even illumination across the full span.

Can the drop be shortened?

Yes. The twin suspension rods are adjustable on installation, so the overall drop can be set to suit ceiling heights. The fitting suspends from two ceiling points spaced along the 780mm length, so both fixings need to be planned during installation.
