Description

These end caps and silicone seals are made for 4x8mm Side Bend LED tape. Sold as a pack of five, they let you finish and close off the ends of your tape runs so the strip stays protected once cut to length.

Use the metal caps together with the silicone seals to keep the tape sealed and maintain its IP66 rating. IP66 means the tape is dust tight and holds up against strong water jets, which matters if your run is fitted somewhere exposed to moisture or the weather. Getting the ends sealed properly is what keeps that rating intact after you trim the tape, so it is worth having a few spare caps on hand.

The caps and seals are designed for the 4x8mm Side Bend format only, so check your tape profile before ordering. Side Bend tape flexes across its width rather than up and down, which suits curved shapes and edge detailing.
