Description

These end caps and silicone seals are made for 4x8mm Side Bend LED tape. Sold in a pack of five, they give you the parts needed to close off the ends of a tape run and keep water and dust out. Use a combination of the caps and seals to finish each cut of tape neatly.

Sealing the ends properly is what lets the tape hold its IP66 rating, so these accessories matter if you are running tape outdoors or in damp areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. The end cap fits over the cut end of the tape, and the silicone grommet (also called a seal) forms a barrier where the cable exits. Together they stop moisture tracking back into the strip.

This pack works only with 4x8mm Side Bend tape, so check your tape profile before ordering. Side bend tape is the type designed to curve horizontally along its width rather than flat, which suits letters, signage and shaped features. Keeping a few spare caps on hand is worth it when you are cutting tape to length, as each new end needs sealing to stay rated.
