Description

The LYYT DC2472UK is a 24Vdc in-line power supply rated at 3A, built into a sealed housing that sits neatly along the cable run. Mains input comes in through a 2-pin figure-8 socket, and we supply a UK figure-8 mains lead in the box so you can plug in straight away. The output side is a hard-wired 1.2m lead terminated with a 5.5 x 2.1mm DC plug (also written as DC5521), with centre positive polarity.

We built this unit for steady, dependable running rather than anything fancy. It accepts a wide 100-240Vac input at 47/63Hz, so it copes with variations in the mains without fuss. The sealed in-line design keeps the working parts protected while staying slim enough to tuck away behind furniture or along a wall. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is suited to indoor use and should be kept away from moisture.
