Description

Our LYYT wide flush mounted plaster-in profile lets you build LED tape into a wall or ceiling for a permanent fixture. The profile sinks into the surface so it sits level with the surrounding plaster, giving a clean, modern look with no housing on show. It suits new builds and renovations where you want the light to appear to come straight from the surface.

The profile takes 1 or 2 pieces of LED tape measuring 8-12mm wide and comes with a white diffuser that spreads the light into a soft, ambient glow. The diffuser is a snap-fit design, so it clicks into place without extra tools. You can cut the profile to length to suit your run, and the 3mm lip gives plasterers a good bed to work into, which reduces the chance of cracking around the edge once it dries.

The external cross-section measures 76 x 11.5mm, with an internal cross-section of 27 x 11mm and a visible diffuser width of 27mm. Each profile is 2m long and comes individually packaged in a recyclable tube, which keeps it protected during transport and storage. Note that plaster-in profiles are sometimes called plaster-in channels or drywall profiles; they all describe the same recessed housing that beds into the wall. You supply the LED tape and driver to match your project.
