LYYT 90° Arc Corner Connectors for LED Strip Profiles (4 Pack)

The LYYT 90° Arc corner connectors are translucent plastic corner pieces designed to join lengths of LYYT 90° Arc aluminium LED strip profile at right angles. Supplied in packs of 4, each connector clips into the profile ends to create a continuous corner joint while maintaining the diffused light effect across the bend.

Used in architectural LED installations where profiles run along ceiling perimeters, under cabinets with returns, or in suspended feature lighting that changes direction at 90°, these connectors allow the LED tape inside the profile to make the turn without exposed gaps or breaks in the light line. The translucent material diffuses the LED point sources in the same way as the frosted profile cover, so the corner appears as a continuous band of light rather than individual diodes showing at the joint.

Compatible with LYYT 90° Arc profiles (156.800UK and 156.810UK), the connectors are designed for installers working on commercial fit-outs, retail displays, hospitality lighting and residential architectural installations. Each pack contains 4 connectors, sufficient for a typical room perimeter or four-sided ceiling feature. The connectors are push-fit and do not require additional fixings or adhesive once the profile ends are correctly aligned.

Which profiles do these connectors fit?

These connectors are designed specifically for LYYT 90° Arc aluminium LED strip profiles, product codes 156.800UK and 156.810UK. They will not fit other profile shapes including the Short Crown version.

Do the LED strips need to be cut and rejoined at the corner?

Yes. LED tape must be cut at the designated cut points and reconnected across the corner joint using solder joints or LED tape connectors. The corner connector holds the two profile sections at 90° but does not carry the electrical connection itself.

Are these suitable for external corners or only internal?

These 90° connectors are designed for internal corners (where the profile turns inward). For external corners (turning outward), the same connector can be used but may require additional support or adhesive depending on the installation angle and weight distribution.

How many connectors are needed for a typical installation?

Each pack contains 4 connectors. A rectangular ceiling perimeter or under-cabinet run with four 90° turns requires one pack. Suspended features or more complex layouts may need multiple packs depending on the number of directional changes.
