The LYYT 3-wire LED rope light controller is a mains-powered controller and power lead assembly designed for LYYT 3-wire LED rope light systems. The controller offers 8 selectable chase and flash sequences on a rotary dial, controlling the two channels of a 3-wire rope light to create different lighting effects. The controller housing carries an IP44 rating, making it suitable for protected outdoor use where it is shielded from direct water jets.

Designed for decorative installations where animated lighting is needed, the controller suits festive displays, event lighting, garden features, shopfront decoration and hospitality accent lighting. The assembly includes a UK 3-pin mains plug, a controller module with a 1.5m cable run, and connector pins compatible with LYYT 3-wire rope light ends. The controller can power up to 50m of LYYT LED rope light, allowing long runs without the need for multiple power sources.

The controller module measures 75 x 52 x 31mm and sits inline on the cable between the mains plug and the rope light connection. The 8 settings are selected via a rotary dial on the controller body, offering sequences including static on, slow chase, fast chase, slow flash, fast flash and various alternating patterns. The IP44 housing protects the internal circuitry from moisture and dust, but the controller should still be positioned under eaves, canopies or other overhead cover rather than exposed to direct rain.

No. This controller is designed specifically for LYYT 3-wire LED rope light. It will not work with 2-wire rope light or other brands that use different connector configurations or voltage ratings.
