Description

This is a round ceiling rose in black, made to carry a cluster of up to seven of our Lyria pendant suspension sets. It measures 220mm across and 45mm deep, and the suspension cables drop together through a single opening at its centre, so the ceiling shows one neat black disc rather than seven separate fittings. The rose comes on its own: the pendant suspension sets, the glass shades and the driver for G4 sets are all sold separately, so it is worth planning the whole light before you order. It weighs 0.94KG.

A cluster pendant suits the places where a single light is not enough, such as over a long dining table, in a hallway with a high ceiling or above a kitchen island. The rose gathers every pendant at one point, which keeps the ceiling tidy and lets the glass shades take the eye. Black gives a crisp outline against a white or pale ceiling and picks up any other dark metal in the room. Because it takes up to seven sets, you can keep the look sparse with just a few or hang the full seven for a fuller cluster, and it suits anyone who wants a generous spread of light from one ceiling point.

The rose is a plain round body with a flat face, a straight side and one central opening, finished in black, and it has no light source of its own: the light comes from the suspension sets you hang from it. If you choose G4 suspension sets, they need a driver, which is sold separately; the maker states that the G9, E14 and E27 sets need no separate power supply. As a mains product, the rose should be installed by a qualified electrician. Order it together with its suspension sets and shades, so your electrician can fit the whole cluster in one visit.
