Description
Our Lyria LED driver is the power supply behind a 12V LED lighting setup. It takes a 220-240V AC mains supply at 50 or 60Hz and delivers a steady 12V DC constant voltage output, up to 60W in total. The driver sits in a plain white plastic case with a long, narrow shape: 168mm long, 38mm wide and 30mm high. It weighs 0.2KG. What you receive is the driver itself. It supplies power and gives no light of its own, so it partners LED lighting rated for 12V DC constant voltage.
It suits anyone building LED lighting around a 12V DC supply who wants one driver to feed it. Several 12V constant voltage pieces can share it, provided their combined wattage stays within 60W. That keeps the setup tidy, with a single power supply in place of several. Its narrow case is easy to tuck out of sight, and its plain white finish stays discreet where it does show. The driver is rated to run between 0°C and 40°C, so give it a spot that stays within that span of temperatures, and keep it clear of anything that runs hot.
This is an on/off driver. It is non-dimmable, so it simply switches on and off with the circuit, and a dimmer switch is the wrong partner for it. Before you order, check two things on the LED lighting you plan to run: that it is rated for 12V DC constant voltage, and that its total wattage stays within 60W. As a mains product, it is installed by a qualified electrician. Keep a note of its 60W rating with your project paperwork, so any LED lighting added later can be checked against what the driver already carries.

Frequently Asked
Can this LED driver be dimmed?
No. It is non-dimmable and works on a simple on/off basis, so pair it with an ordinary switch rather than a dimmer.
What output voltage does the Lyria driver give?
It delivers 12V DC constant voltage, up to 60W in total. The LED lighting it runs needs to be rated for 12V constant voltage.
How many watts of LED lighting can it power?
Up to 60W in total. Add up the wattage of everything it will run and keep the combined figure within 60W.
What mains supply does it need?
It takes a 220-240V AC mains supply at either 50Hz or 60Hz and turns it into a steady 12V DC output.
How big is the driver?
It measures 168mm long, 38mm wide and 30mm high in a white plastic case and weighs 0.2KG, so it is easy to tuck out of sight.
Which operating temperatures is the driver rated to handle?
It is rated to run between 0°C and 40°C, so choose a spot that stays within those temperatures all year round.
