Description

The Luxora is a 400mm tall column pendant light with a narrow 60mm diameter cylinder in matt black painted metal, housing an integrated 11.5W LED at 3000K. The LED sits inside the column and emits downward-focused light through the open base, creating a vertical accent and functional downlight in one fitting.

Designed for kitchen islands, bar counters, dining tables and reception desks where focused downlight is needed without wide lateral spread, the Luxora's slim profile allows multiple pendants to be grouped in a row without visual clutter. The 2000mm fabric cable can be shortened on installation to position the pendant 700-900mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height. The matt black canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The 60mm diameter means the pendant reads as a vertical line rather than a wide shade when viewed from any angle in the room, making it particularly effective over long narrow surfaces like kitchen islands or bar counters. The matt black finish absorbs ambient light during the day and disappears against darker ceilings, letting the warm 3000K downlight become the primary visual feature when switched on. The IP20 rating restricts installation to dry interior locations only.

Can the Luxora be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable and should be paired with a standard on/off switch only.

How many pendants are needed over a kitchen island?

For a typical 2-2.4m kitchen island, three Luxora pendants spaced 600-700mm apart provide balanced coverage. Longer islands may need four or five pendants depending on total length and desired light density.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2000mm cable is adjustable on installation. For positioning 700-900mm above a worktop or dining table, ceiling heights of 2.4m or above work comfortably. Lower ceilings can accommodate the pendant if the cable is shortened further during fitting.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is suitable for dry interior locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor locations.
